Shadow Gallery/Black Market     Space Program students operated clandestine black markets throughout the V&A museum during a money-themed Friday Late event. Pushing the boundaries of the conventional uses of museum galleries and infrastructure, they introduced a shadow layer of hidden commerce to the space. In doing so, the project highlighted issues and narratives around underground economies — from the market for rare animal products to unlicensed gender reassignment surgery — and the dynamics of value in the museum.
